About the map: MARK EDWARDS (The0rthopaedicSurgeon)
Following D-Day, the Allies set their sights on Cherbourg, a vital port city for transporting equipment into Europe. Cut off and pushed back to the sea, the Axis forces must try and push back inland.
Based on the original map by Acturus, there are 5 points with 2 on each side of the main route that can be easily captured if not defended properly, which means gameplay is faster as points constantly exhange teams.
Map description:
June 25th, 1944
The 9th Army continues through the port town of Cherbourg, with the Axis troops pushed back to the Channel. In one final attack, the German forces must try to break forward, while the Allies attempt to drive the remaining opposition out of the town and secure a first, crucial port on the Normandy coast.
Allies and Axis must capture all 6 points in the map to win.
