There are two downloads in this LINUX ONLY download.

These are from my investigation on why the fonts look so small and nasty.

You can read about that in the HUD and GUI section of dodbits, these two files sets could be used as a base to make your own Linux HUD.

The simple HUD font fix.

This is a plain HUD and all it does is fix some fonts and kills and deaths background. The chat text and kills and deaths fonts on Linux are bad, so I fixed them.

Chat area - better White font the only downside is the allied green is a bit faded, axis red is OK. On the whole readability is improved on 99% of places.	The kills and deaths fonts and background changed and netgraph fonts.  Click on image to expand.

The Version 11 small hud if you like small black panels. 

It is a full custom hud (My version 11) with the same font fixes above, a smaller hud for dods.

2. insanes_hud_linux_v11 - The full custom hud (My version 11) with the same font fixes above, a smaller hud for dods.

TO INSTALL

You need to place the files in the correct folder.
In this case the files go into your dod/custom folder as a "mod".

To find your "day of defeat source" folder, go to your Steam Library.
1. Right click on the Day of Defeat Source icon
2. Select "Manage" then "Browse local files"
3. The "Day of Defeat Source" folder will open

The files in the download can now be inserted...

1. Open the download folder "day of defeat source"
2. Copy the folder "dod" and paste that into your game folder "day of defeat source"

To uninstall all of this,
1. delete the items you don't want in dod/custom.
2. Verify the files in the Steam Library function... Properties - Installed files - Vertify this games files are installed correctly.

Done. Any missing files that you (accidently deleted) will download.
