dodbits

Server Admin duties made me appreciate the quality of our dods mappers... my god... dods has some dedicated and talented mappers.  There are enough sites that have the huge amount of maps for downloads and I was never going to do a map download section... but when getting the servers together for the Bogan Clan and uploading a stack of maps to our fast downloads folder on dodbits, it is an easy task to copy them over and provide a download.

The most popular ones are in packs and others are single downloads , just a simple zip file not a fancy installer. There is a huge mix and they are all from the Bogan Clan servers map cycles . As you can see the pages are very simple (the map cycle link is simple because it is a in game MOTD browser), but I intend to update the downloads with a proper section on dodbits dedicated to maps... pictures, videos, descriptions, ratings... anything for a proper review before you download.

They will be in packs, I found that downloading them from other sites one at a time extremely annoying... it doesn't hurt to have maps in your dod/maps folder that you may never use... it is better to have at least the most popular ones all installed and ready to go... playing time is for playing not downloading.
